Tuesday, October 31, 2006, Dharamsala. (Day 6 of the workshops)

It is a beautiful day, today. As usual, a man starts his work at seven o'clock with his tick-tick-tick, tick-tick-tick-tick.

Yesterday I uploaded my files to xs4all, but after some strange refusals to get the files transferred, I concluded that my website had a maximum of 200 MB, whereas I wanted to upload 236 MB.

Some may have noted the hick-up. The solution was simple: delete old material and do the uploads again.

I am well enough to walk to TCV and see an other interesting infrastructure element. The telephone lines and some more cables, uncovered along the path by a landslide.

On my way to the big hall at the basketball filed, I see the children go to class.

This day the workshop is totally devoted to the business side of community networks. The original plan was to have two tracks: one on business and one on technical matters. However, the business track shortly was underparticipated.

The organisms changed the plan and today Laura gave a condensed version of her training.

It is very worthwhile to spend attention to the business aspect of community networks. May be a new book will be published to keep the material available.
